Thanh Dang

Thanh is a freelance illustrator and motion designer based in Toulouse, France.

She studied graphic design and later trained in motion design. During this period, she independently developed her illustration practice, which became the primary focus of her work.

She has collaborated with a range of creative agencies, primarily as an illustrator, while also contributing to motion design and animation projects. Her experience includes editorial illustration, social media visuals, explainer videos, and visual communication for clients and organisations.

Alongside commissioned work, she maintains an active personal practice, using it to explore and develop her visual language. Her work often focuses on contemplative and poetic scenes, incorporating organic forms, abstract elements, and landscapes.

Illustration remains central to her practice, with motion used as a complementary medium to extend her work into animation and create more immersive visual experiences.

While much of her agency work follows established visual directions, her personal projects reflect the artistic direction and visual language she continues to develop.
